Google has just launched a feature that many have been dreaming of. A new tool in Gemini Canvas can now take any document or report and automatically build a complete, professionally designed Google Slides presentation in seconds.
The AI-powered feature intelligently analyzes your text, whether it’s a simple outline or a dense report. It then constructs a full slide deck, complete with a clean theme, appropriate titles, section breaks, and even relevant visual aids.
This new functionality is housed in Gemini’s Canvas mode, the same workspace Google introduced for AI-assisted writing. Now, this space allows you to not only refine your text but also to visually transform it into a presentation-ready format.
Once generated, the slide deck is fully flexible. Users can export it directly to Google Slides for any final edits, additions, or team collaboration, blending AI speed with human control.
This major update is rolling out globally right now. It is available for both personal Google accounts and Workspace users. Early sightings suggest Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers are the first to get it, with a general release for all users coming soon.
